Population and development

The Population and Development Program aims to support the achievement of policies, programs and initiatives that push for the formulation of a national vision represented by the realization and investment of population opportunity policies, with a focus on the demographic dividend to reach the desired strategic goals in a way that contributes to achieving the well-being of the citizen, in line with the national strategy and its executive program, national plans and an action program. Population and Development International, the international development plan after 2015, and the results of international conferences on population and development, and sustainable development, such as the International Conference on Population and Development 1994, and the recommendations that emerged from it, including the Cairo Declaration 2013, the Sustainable Development Goals 2015, and the Nairobi Summit 2019, which are being integrated into national strategies, policies, and plans. Developmental development, the comprehensive development framework to achieve the goals of sustainable development in their three economic, social and environmental dimensions, as well as strengthening partnerships and coordination between various concerned partner agencies and counterparts working in the field of population and development, in addition to striving to follow up and monitor the extent to which the implementation programs of the partner agencies in the development process are achieved and effective in relation to this issue.
