National Population Council

General Secretariat
It is the technical and administrative body of the Council. It enjoys financial and administrative independence and has an independent budget within the Council’s budget of the Council of Ministers. The General Secretariat is headed by the Secretary-General of the Council and the Assistant Secretary-General deputizes him.
The organizational structure of the General Secretariat consists of the following organizational levels and divisions:
First: The Office of the Secretary-General, whose organizational level is determined by its general management
Second: The Office of the Assistant Secretary and its organizational level is determined by management
Third: Legal Affairs Department
Fourth: Information and Documentation Center
Fifth: Department of Control and Inspection
Sixth: Public Relations Department
Seventh: The following public administrations
– General Administration of Planning and Resource Development
– General Administration for Coordination and Follow-up
– General Administration of Information, Education and Population Awareness
– General Administration of Studies and Research
– General Administration of Women
– General Administration of Financial and Administrative Affairs
