The Council is considered a supreme body responsible for drawing up and approving population policies, following up on the implementation of population programs and activities aimed at achieving a balance between population growth and economic growth, coordinating the efforts of ministries and executive agencies, and attracting the necessary support to address the population problem and developing the necessary solutions and treatments for it.
